Welcome to the law firm of Kathleen Womack, Attorney at Law. My law office is located in Atlanta, Georgia, near the Perimeter Mall area, convenient to downtown Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Midtown, Buckhead, Dunwoody, Alpharetta and Roswell.
I take pride in providing personal service and individual attention in many areas of the law, with a particular emphasis on the following types of legal matters:
- Wills and Estate Planning
including the drafting and preparation of wills and other documents such as financial and durable health care powers of attorney, advanced directives, and living wills, as well as handling probate of estates.
- Domestic Partnership Issues and the numerous matters unique to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender (GLBT) community and domestic partners, such as drafting domestic partnership agreements. I also represent gay and lesbian individuals involved in domestic partnership dissolutions, from the negotiation of the terms of the dissolution up through and including trial of the issues if litigation becomes necessary to resolve same sex partner property disputes.
- Probate of Estates. Probate is the legal process of transferring assets upon the death of an individual, either by the express instructions contained in the deceased person's Last Will & Testament, or if the person died without a Last Will & Testament, then through Georgia Intestacy laws.
You can always be assured that your case will be afforded the highest level of respect and confidentiality, your case will be personally handled by me and will not be passed off to an associate or paralegal, and your telephone calls will be returned.
For personable and professional legal representation, please call Kathleen Womack, Attorney at Law, at 404-303-0130.
